Apply Office 365 latest updates: latest status.

To enjoy new features for Office, the update channel for the Office Click2Run installation can be changed:

Checking the version in Outlook or Word

File, Office account:

Check for Updates.

New updates are installed in the background or via "Update now".

If no update is found at this point and you still want to install newer updates, you only have to change the update channel in the registry:

The registry editor can be found via the Windows search: regedit:

The setting is located in the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration

To change the channel, the key CDNBaseUrl must be adjusted to:

After changing to the "Current Channel" Outlook will find new updates and after installing the changed channel will be shown in the settings, as an example for "Current Channel"

or "Monthly Enterprise Channel"
